About Me

Hey! My name is Mario Sanchez, I'm an aspiring recording artist and audio engineer. I am currently attending Utah valley University in Orem Utah to get a degree in digital audio. I am originally from San Jose California where I was born. From an early age music was always involved in my life. From listening to my lego radio to help my fall asleep or my parents introducing me to the hits of their youth, I was always taken with music. I started really getting interested in the audio field though in high school When I started a band with my friend. We didn't really have a goal except we wanted to make music. That summer we started jamming out in his backyard constantly, through these sessions we started to make music and release it. To do that I had to learn Ableton Live. I downloaded live 10 lite at the time which only gave me access to 8 tracks which at the time seemed like a lot at the time. We went on to do this for a few more months till we eventually got busy. But those songs lit a creative fire within me and made me want to make more music on my own. toward the end of high school into Covid Pandemic I started working on my first album. After high school though I moved to Utah to attend Utah Valley university which is where I am now. That first year I put out that album that I had worked on in high school. And since then I have released two other albums and a few singles. I have come a long way but still have more to learn and show.
